• Develop a detailed shot list and storyboard from you plans on your lyrics – at the moment it’s quite general – think about how you can incorporate a wide range of interesting shots – focus especially on close ups and camera movement.
ReplyDelete• Same for your storyboard – make sure you add on shot types (use abbreviations – e.g. CU for close ups) – aim for detail – you should be able to use these for the actual shoot
• Good examples of try outs – think about how you can integrate these techniques in the video – at what points?
• Keep consulting your audience and posting feedback as you develop your ideas.
• Try to show how you are developing your creative ideas – e.g. how will you use narrative / performance? Illustration / disjuncture / amplification? Intertextuality? Again – use stills from other videos, shot drafts for your own video.
• Planning is looking excellent – L4 / A – adding the above will secure this.
Thanks Collier - I have produced a revised shot list, which shows which type of shots we will be using, including shot type and camera movement. This can then be used alongside the storyboard to give more information to the reader. I have also edited my tryout posts, to say which ones we will be able to incorporate into our video, and how they will be effective.
